Particle - も - Also - also, in addition, too, as much as

The particle is used to say that something is also true. It corresponds with the English words "also" or "too", and replaces , or when used.

Other particles, such as , may be used in combination with , and usually, but not always, precede it.

It can also be used to set an upper limit. For example: 君の写真を撮っていいですか (Can I take your photo?). By adding you especially indicate that you just want to take a photo and nothing more.

It also turns question-words (Who, What, Where) into every~/all~ words (だれも everyone, どこも everywhere)

Formation

ねこ は 黄色 です. The cat is yellow
車  黄色 です. The car is also yellow.

    May I take your picture?
