Miageru

The particle に used in a few different cases. In most cases it marks a destination (which can be a location or time) of an action: 家に行きます (Go to home). It can mark a someone or something an action is done for: 猫に歌います (Sing to the cat). It can also mark a period of time something repeats in: 一日に走ります (Run every day).

Note that for the verbs なる (to become), 会う (to meet) and 乗る (to ride), it has the same role as the を particle.
