Particle - に/へ - Location - to (place, etc)

The particles and both indicate a place toward where someone or something moves. It is preceded by the name of the place and followed by a verb which indicates a moving action such as 行く (to go).

Sample sentences

  • 明日に日本に行きます
    Tomorrow I will go to Japan
  • 大阪にも行きました
    I also went to Osaka
  • 友達と映画に行った
    I went to a movie with a friend
  • 私は山にいました。
    I was in the mountains.
  • 敵は町に近づく。
    The enemy approaches the town.
  • 私は公園に行く。
    I'll go to the park.
  • この電車はどこに行くのですか
    Where does this train go to?
  • スーパーマーケットに行く
    I'm going to the supermarket
  • あなたの家に行きません
    I didn't go to your home
  • 私も日本に行きました
    I also went to japan
