Conditional - と - Natural result - If Something, Then Result
This is a way to say, if a verb before と is happening, then anything after と will happen. The verb before the と will always be written in the ~U base. This Conditional is used to express a natural consequence.
It can also be used with nouns. In that case, だ is added in front of と. For example: 青い色だと美しいです . If it is the color blue, it must be beautiful.
